NeW aDvEnTuReS

So, I thought I would put an update on here...FINALLY! Recently I have been struggling at work with my schedule because I have continued to work a "night" shift for the last year, and have continually been promised of a morning shift many times. So, for now I have decided to go part time and keep this "night" shift of theirs and work 12 to 6 every day, and go back to school! I am taking lemons and making lemonade you might say. I did try going to University of Phoenix a year ago and that worked for almost a year, but when I had my surgery back in December I couldn't go to class online because I was at my mom's house and she didn't have internet at the time. So, I failed out of two classes and have been arguing with them ever since! So, I decided online classes are not for me. The other day during general conference I was giving my marvelous sisters pedicures and they kept on sayin gI should go to cosmetology school (i'm guessing they are wanting some good deals on haircuts and petticures :) ) So, I looked it up online and the DATC offers summer classes for their cosmetology department, so I signed up! So, after a while then I will have a job that i'll enjoy and not be stuck at my job anymore, and be able to continue to work while Luke goes to school. Luke is continuing to work his butt of for us at work right now and will be returning back to the U in the Fall. Right now his work is taking up a LOT of his time and he can't take any time off and works sometimes 12 hour shifts six days a week! He is an amazing husband and I greatly appreciate all he does, and hopefully we'll be able to get away sometime. :)
